If you do something against the law, you will be taken before a court, as a Daily Event, and possibly made to pay a fine.
You will be taken to court if:
- You sold your slave to another Buyer
- Minako failed to rescue Malerna
- Minako succeeded in rescuing Malerna
The amount of the fine varies. There is even a chance that you pay nothing.
