SlaveMaker 3 SDK Core Backgrounds

There are a group of standard movie clips that show backgrounds behind the main window

Show these by using the functions below

eg

_root.Backgrounds.ShowAlley();

or

_root.Backgrounds.ShowAlley(2);

or

_root.Backgrounds.ShowAlley(2, true);

Where available gframe is a specific image to show. If omitted a random image of the type is shown

flip = true will flip the image horizontally, if omitted then image is not flipped

Thumbnails of all backgrounds are in the subfolder Standard Images/Backgrounds of this SDK. The number like tn_Background - Beach 5.jpg is also the frame number for use in the functions below (gframe parameter)

For night actions the image will either be darkened or if you do not specify gframe then an appropriate image will be selected. Most indoor backgrounds do not do this

ShowAlley
function ShowAlley(gframe:Number, flip:Boolean)
Shows a city alley way
ShowArmoury
function ShowArmoury(gframe:Number, flip:Boolean)
Shows the interior of the armoury.
Note: No night variants or effects.
ShowBar
function ShowBar(gframe:Number, flip:Boolean)
Shows the inside of a bar, or sleazy bar (frame 3)
Note: No night variants or effects.
ShowBedRoom
function ShowBedRoom(gframe:Number, flip:Boolean)
Show a bedroom interior. If you omit all parameters it will always show the same image, the one chosen the represent your slaves bedroom. An image is selected based on your chosen house. The selected frame is (after the first call to this function) _root.Home.HomeRoom
Change this value to select a different room.
Note: No night variants or effects.
ShowBath

Show a bathroom interior. If you omit all parameters it will always show the same image, the one chosen the represent your bathroom. An image is selected based on your chosen house. The selected frame is (after the first call to this function) _root.Home.HomeBath

Shows the rocks at the north end of the beach

fadein - true - the cave image will fade in from a black image and then show the nextevent button.
false - just show it
