This gallery was started as an attempt to catalog my extensive anime laserdisc collection. I now scan LDs on an occasional basis as the mood strikes or as requests come in (contact erik@otakubell.com). I now use an Epson 1640XL, which can scan the jackets in one pass (minus a few millimeters on the top and/or bottom), which means I now have a realistic chance of scanning the entire collection at some point.

Some scans were made with a crappy old standard-size scanner, and are a bit blurry in the middle. They may also have distortions on the edges where images were stitched (especially noticeable on white borders). These will eventually be rescanned.

5/27/13: Most of my collection has been in storage for a year now, and will continue to be in storage for at least a few more months. Currently saving up to buy a new house, so hopefully once my living situation is all settled I can once again have my pride and glory on full display once again, and can begin scanning again.
